Driving License
Do you need to take an exam?
Good news: you do not need to take any exam, neither theoretical nor practical. Turkey is a party to the Vienna Convention, so a simple administrative exchange of the driving license is sufficient.
Important notes:
- The driving license must be valid – an expired license cannot be exchanged
- After 6 months of residence in Poland without exchanging, you cannot legally drive.
- A Polish driving license issued in exchange for a Turkish one is recognized in all EU countries.
